Pre-Installation Guide
Thank you for choosing Seagull Bespoke Interiors.
It's nearly time for the installation of your bespoke fitted furniture or cabinetry. Please take a moment to read through the below checklist to ensure that the installation goes as smoothly as possible.
Timing
You will have been told your installation start date and expected duration. Please note that sometimes projects go quicker or slower than expected, so this is just a guide.
Our usual site working hours are roughly 9am to 5pm.
Getting ready for us
Please ensure that the area where the installation is to take place is clear.
Please ensure that the route to the installation area is also clear — e.g. making sure hallways and corridors are free from obstructions to allow materials and tools to be moved into the installation space.
With your agreement, I'll leave some tools at your property to save packing up and unpacking time each day. Tools will be packed away into their cases and left as tidily as possible.
A note on dust and minor accidents
When moving bulky panels and tools inside your property, care will be taken to minimise any risk of knocking or bumping into walls, door frames, and other surfaces. Even with great care, occasionally accidents can happen — if you notice any knocks or scrapes, please let me know and we will make these good.
Most components will be pre-cut to size, however there may be some need to cut components to exact dimensions at your property. Care will be taken to minimise any dust or debris, and where practical cuts will be done outside, but please be aware that some airborne dust may carry to surrounding areas (either inside or outside).
If there is any painting required, dust sheets will be used to cover floors and surrounding areas — but if you have any priceless artwork or furniture near the installation area, you may want to clear this well away to avoid the risk of any accidents.
Thanks,
Joe & Team
