5. Use of Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses PostHog, an analytics service, in two ways, and Google Ads:

• Without cookies, for every visitor: PostHog records the pages you visit and what you click, so we can see how the website is used. Nothing is stored on your device, and this data is not used to identify you.
• With cookies, only if you accept them: PostHog recognises you when you return and records your visits (session recordings), so we can see where the website could be easier to use. Anything you type into a form is hidden from these recordings.
• Google Ads, only if you accept cookies: shows us whether people who found us through our Google adverts go on to get in touch, by sending an enquiry or tapping our phone number.

You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Your choice itself is saved on your device so that we don’t ask on every page.

6. Sharing Your Information

We share data with trusted third-party providers where necessary to operate our website or deliver our services, including:

• PostHog: for website analytics, with data stored in the European Union
• Google: for measuring our Google Ads, if you accept cookies
• Formspree: to deliver the messages you send through the forms on our website
• Brevo: for our email newsletter, when you sign up to it
• Toby by Seagull Tech: a software system we use to manage customer and project information (such as contact details, quotes, and project records) as part of delivering our fitted furniture & cabinetry services

Your account and customer data held within Toby is stored in the United Kingdom. Some processing, for example transcribing and summarising voice notes and notes we add, is carried out by Toby’s AI provider, which takes place in the United States. Some of our other providers, such as Formspree and Google, also process data in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK in these ways, it is protected by appropriate legal safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or a UK adequacy decision).

These providers only access the data needed to perform their function and are required to handle it securely. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

7. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

As a UK resident, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
