Wardrobes
Wardrobes Built to Fit Your Home.
At Seagull Bespoke Interiors, we design and build wardrobes that are made specifically for your space.
Whether it’s a traditional-looking painted wardrobe in a period property, or a contemporary ultra-matte look in a new build, every wardrobe is designed around the way you use it, built in our workshop, and installed with the same level of care and attention to detail that goes into making it.
We regularly work directly with homeowners, but also collaborate with interior designers, architects and builders who are looking for a cabinetmaker to design and manufacture bespoke fitted wardrobes.
Why Buy a Wardrobe From Us?
High quality finishes, fitted exactly.
We’re a completely bespoke outfit; we don’t have a catalogue of finishes and we don’t make wardrobes to standard sizes. All of our wardrobes are completely unique to you and your space.
-
We design, manufacture and install completely bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces.
All of our wardrobes are fitted exactly to your space, minimising the use of filler panels and providing floor to ceiling storage.
We can offer finishes to suit a variety of budgets and tastes.
-
We work with many of the same high‑quality materials used by top furniture manufacturers — including durable laminates, modern panel finishes, and high-performance hardware — but without the restrictions of pre‑set wardrobe sizes.
Because everything is built specifically for your home, we can design fitted wardrobes that make use of every inch of space rather than forcing storage around standard dimensions.
-
The person who designs the wardrobe is the same person who builds the cabinetry and installs it in your home. Nothing passes between different teams.
That means the original design intent is carried all the way through to the finished product — and small details that often get lost in largercompanies are handled with care.
“Joe designed and built us a large built-in wardrobe with internal drawers, completed last month. We are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend. The space we had for the wardrobe is unusual and a bit tricky - Joe designed something bespoke that would fit the space perfectly. He stepped us through options for materials and colours and kept us informed of timings. If we had any questions, he was very easy to contact on the phone or email and answered everything clearly and professionally. He fitted the wardrobe on time and left everything clean and tidy. Joe cares about doing a good job and this shows in the outcome. We already have other projects in mind so will likely be returning customers soon.”
“Joe has designed, built, painted and installed a wardrobe, a cupboard and shelving to make the maximum use of the limited space available in my study/spare bedroom, along with a couple of smaller jobs, and he has done a superb job. He’s been easy to deal with, always very helpful, cheerful and friendly, and kept me fully informed throughout the entire process. He’s meticulous, clean and tidy, and clearly takes great pride in his work. As he should! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.”
Featured Project:
Modern Dressing Room - Hawkhurst, Kent
The Hawkhurst Project, 2025
Finished in 2025, this dressing room was entirely bespoke and maximised storage space in this third bedroom.
The room comprises a six-door run of wardrobes on the right-hand side, with a central section containing solid oak dovetail drawers, as well as a separate double wardrobe on the left, and finally a dressing table with two floating shelves in the corner. The ultra-matte light grey units sit alongside green sprayed drawer fronts and a matching finish on the dressing area, all designed and finished in-house.
LED lighting runs through the interiors, the dressing table has its own integrated light, and the floating shelves keep the space open and practical. Every part of this room was made specifically for it — there’s nothing else like it.
Materials & Build Quality
Built like proper furniture.
Our wardrobes are constructed using furniture‑grade materials and traditional joinery techniques rather than mass‑produced components.
Typical construction includes:
Birch plywood or high‑quality cabinet board carcasses
Doors made from real timber, veneered panels, or durable painted finishes
Soft‑close hinges and drawer systems as standard
Optional accessories such as pull‑out rails, internal drawers, or bespoke shelving
The aim is simple: wardrobes that feel solid, work properly, and still look good many years from now.
We regularly work with products from companies such as Egger, Finsa, Blum and Häfele, chosen for their durability, precision and long‑term reliability.
Workshop and Craftsmanship
Each Component Built by Hand.
Every wardrobe begins in our workshop.
The cabinetry is designed, built, and assembled here, which allows us to maintain control over the quality of every component — from the way drawers run to the way doors sit.
Before anything is built, the entire wardrobe is modelled in detailed 3D at millimetre accuracy. This allows us to properly check door clearances, corner details and awkward angles, avoiding the kinds of clashes that can easily be missed in a simple visual rendering.
By resolving these details at the design stage and building the cabinetry ourselves, we’re able to deliver the level of fit and finish that’s difficult to achieve with factory-produced wardrobes.
Our Process
Reducing stress.
Initial Conversation: We discuss your space and what you need from the wardrobe.
Design & Layout: Layouts and cabinetry are designed around the room rather than standard unit sizes.
Workshop Build: Cabinetry is built in our workshop using furniture-grade materials.
Installation: Everything is fitted carefully to achieve a precise, seamless finish.
