Media Walls

Bespoke Media Walls Built for Your Home.

At Seagull Bespoke Interiors, we design and build media walls that are made specifically for your living space.

Whether it’s a modern, minimalist unit with integrated lighting or a more traditional feature wall designed to complement a period property, every project is designed around your technology and lifestyle. Each piece is built in our workshop and installed with the same level of care and attention to detail that goes into making it.

We regularly work directly with homeowners to create stunning cinematic hubs, but also collaborate with interior designers and architects looking for a specialist cabinetmaker to execute complex, tech-integrated media installations.

Why Choose Us For Your Media Wall Project?

High quality finishes, fitted around your tech.

We’re a completely bespoke outfit; we don’t have a catalogue of finishes and we don’t make units to standard sizes. All of our media walls are completely unique to you, your equipment, and your space.

Joe recently created and built a bookcase and media unit for us. From start to finish he’s been great to communicate with and really understood what we wanted. He sent us regular updates on his designs until we were 100% happy. The units look lovely and have made the room feel very homely. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Seagull Bespoke Interiors. Thank you!

Featured Project:

Shaker Media Wall and Bookcase - Ashford, Kent

Green bookshelf with multiple shelves holding books, framed photos, decorative items, and small red toy cars, adjacent to a window with patterned curtains and a black lamp in a living room.

Finished in late 2025, this media wall and matching bookcase were entirely bespoke and designed to bring a cosy, organized feel to this Ashford living room.

The installation comprises a four-door run of Shaker-style cabinetry at the base of the main unit, with the upper section built precisely around the TV to maximize the available wall space. Alongside this sits a separate, dedicated bookcase unit, sized specifically to house a record player and vinyl collection, featuring two lower doors and adjustable upper shelving for a versatile library display. Both pieces are finished in a soft, heritage green, designed and professionally sprayed in-house.

Hidden cable management runs throughout both units, ensuring that all power leads for the TV and turntable are tucked away for a clean, wire-free finish. Every part of this project was made specifically for the room and the client’s collection — there’s nothing else like it.

Materials & Build Quality

Built like proper furniture.

Our media walls are constructed using furniture-grade materials and traditional joinery techniques rather than mass-produced components. Typical construction includes:

  • Birch plywood or high-quality cabinet board carcasses.

  • Integrated cable management systems to hide all wiring.

  • Soft-close hinges and push-to-open hardware as standard.

  • Optional features such as LED mood lighting, acoustic slatted panels, or floating shelving.

The aim is simple: media walls that feel solid, keep your tech cool, and look as good as the rest of your interior for years to come. We regularly work with premium products from Egger, Finsa, Blum, and Häfele.

Workshop and Craftsmanship

Each Component Built by Hand.

Every media wall begins in our workshop. The cabinetry is designed, built, and assembled here, allowing us to maintain control over the quality of every component—from the seamless fit of a TV recess to the integration of an electric fireplace.

Before anything is built, the entire unit is modelled in detailed 3D at millimetre accuracy. This is especially vital for media walls, as it allows us to precisely plan for TV dimensions, soundbar clearances, and cable access points, avoiding the clashes that often occur with factory-produced units.

Our Process

Reducing stress.

  1. Initial Conversation: We discuss your room, your technology (TV size, fire models, etc.), and how you want the space to feel.

  2. Design & Layout: 3D modelling ensures the unit fits your equipment and your wall perfectly.

  3. Workshop Build: Cabinetry is built in our workshop using furniture-grade materials.

  4. Installation: Everything is fitted carefully to achieve a precise, "built-in" finish with all cables hidden.
