At Seagull Bespoke Interiors, I design and build wardrobes that are made specifically for your space.

Whether it’s a traditional-looking painted wardrobe in a period property, or a contemporary ultra-matte look in a new build, every wardrobe is designed around the way you use it, built in our workshop, and installed with the same level of care and attention to detail that goes into making it.

I regularly work directly with homeowners, but also collaborate with interior designers, architects and builders who are looking for a cabinetmaker to design and manufacture bespoke fitted wardrobes.

Modern Dressing Room - Hawkhurst, Kent

The Hawkhurst Project, 2025

Finished in 2025, this dressing room was entirely bespoke and maximised storage space in this third bedroom.

The room comprises a six-door run of wardrobes on the right-hand side, with a central section containing solid oak dovetail drawers, as well as a separate double wardrobe on the left, and finally a dressing table with two floating shelves in the corner. The ultra-matte light grey units sit alongside green sprayed drawer fronts and a matching finish on the dressing area, all designed and finished in-house.

LED lighting runs through the interiors, the dressing table has its own integrated light, and the floating shelves keep the space open and practical. Every part of this room was made specifically for it — there’s nothing else like it.

Our wardrobes are constructed using furniture‑grade materials and traditional joinery techniques rather than mass‑produced components.

Typical construction includes:

Birch plywood or high‑quality cabinet board carcasses
Doors made from real timber, veneered panels, or durable painted finishes
Soft‑close hinges and drawer systems as standard
Optional accessories such as pull‑out rails, internal drawers, or bespoke shelving

The aim is simple: wardrobes that feel solid, work properly, and still look good many years from now.

We regularly work with products from companies such as Egger, Finsa, Blum and Häfele, chosen for their durability, precision and long‑term reliability.

Workshop and Craftsmanship

Each Component Built by Hand.

Every wardrobe begins in our workshop.

The cabinetry is designed, built, and assembled here, which allows us to maintain control over the quality of every component — from the way drawers run to the way doors sit.

Before anything is built, the entire wardrobe is modelled in detailed 3D at millimetre accuracy. This allows us to properly check door clearances, corner details and awkward angles, avoiding the kinds of clashes that can easily be missed in a simple visual rendering.

By resolving these details at the design stage and building the cabinetry ourselves, we’re able to deliver the level of fit and finish that’s difficult to achieve with factory-produced wardrobes.
