This is a pair of wardrobes with drawers below, made for a house in Tetbury: a double unit with four drawers and a matching single unit with two.
The doors, the cabinets and the drawer boxes are all BB+ birch ply, a no-knot grade, with a lacquered finish. The drawer fronts are Valchromat Grey, a solid colour MDF, which gives a dark contrast to the pale timber.
The detail is the edges. I left the layers of the ply showing around the doors and drawers, so the construction is part of the look. The drawer boxes are dovetailed, and everything runs on Blum hardware and runners.
