Fluted Lulworth Blue Bookcase
A 4m wide fluted bookcase sprayed in Farrow & Ball Lulworth Blue, made to hold a large collection of books.
Main photo styled. Photos below are as fitted.
This is a bookcase along one wall, 4m wide and rising to a cornice at the ceiling, made to hold a large book collection.
It is built in four 1m bays, with a deep skirting at the bottom and shelves running the full width of each bay. Fluted detailing runs across the front, so the whole wall reads as one piece.
The bookcase is Finsa Hidrofugo MDF, a moisture-resistant board, sprayed in Farrow & Ball Lulworth Blue. The shelves sit on pins drilled at 32mm centres, so each shelf can be moved up or down to suit the size of the books.
