Floor-to-Ceiling Kitchen Storage Wall
An 11ft kitchen storage wall with a reeded glass drinks cabinet and a log store, plus a smaller shelving unit under the island.
Main photo styled. Photos below are as fitted.
This kitchen has an 11ft floor-to-ceiling storage wall, with a smaller shelving unit tucked under the island.
The wall is made from moisture-resistant Finsa Hidrofugo MDF, hand-painted in Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell in Chalk White, with J-profile handles and hardwood meranti face frames on the shelves. One cupboard door has reeded glass and doubles as a drinks cabinet. Two open shelves span 1.8m, held on steel brackets finished to match the wall.
The base holds a log store, with softwood battens so air can move around the logs. Beside the wall I also built a timber column, plasterboarded and skimmed to look like part of the room.
