Heritage Slate Wardrobes
Wardrobes under a sloping ceiling in Dulux Heritage Slate, part of a pack of cabinetry across four rooms of one house.
Main photo styled. Photos below are as fitted.
At the start of 2025 I made cabinetry for four rooms of one house in Wadhurst. The main piece is a set of bedroom wardrobes fitted under the sloping ceiling.
The wardrobes have shaker doors and a run of drawers beside them, cut to follow the pitch of the roof. I sprayed them in Dulux Heritage Slate, the same colour as the living room cabinets, which include a corner TV unit with shelves above it. The bookcase and the bathroom cupboard are sprayed in Farrow & Ball Inchyra Blue.
The interiors mix two EGGER finishes, Light Natural Casella Oak and Pewter Halifax Oak, and the drawers are birch ply. All of it runs on Blum hardware and runners.
