ThermoWood Outdoor Sauna
A triangular outdoor sauna built mainly from ThermoWood, with bronze tinted glass and a custom picture-frame window.

This is an outdoor sauna in a garden in St Leonards on Sea, a triangular building I designed and built in 2025. It sits on a timber deck.
Most of it is ThermoWood, which is timber that has been thermally treated. The door and the custom picture-frame window are both glazed in bronze tinted glass. Inside there are slatted benches either side of the stove, and outside a small bench sits on the timber deck beside the door.
The building is insulated with layers of PIR and mineral wool, which you can't see once the cladding is on. Downlights are set into the underside of the roof overhang above the door and window.
